What Happened to Keano?

I've been a silent follower of the blog for about a year, but I felt compelled to write something when I read the "Keane to Leicester?" post. I want to get to the bottom of Keane's regression from the heart of Spurs offense for most of the decade to a benchwarmer striker now with rumors tied to a lowly Championship club. Keane was key reason I became a Spurs and a football fan. I am one of the few-- probably in the extremely minority-- that says KEEP KEANO, just because of my foolish nostalgia and love for Keane. It obviously saddens me to see him in such shape. I hear the shake-up in Anfield between Keane and Rafa Benitez and how it shot his confidence down, but what made it so hard for him to rebound back at Tottenham? He was at his late 20s, back at his home at WHL, and he really only left for 6 months. Maybe I am missing something; what say you fellow Spurs fan of Keane's regression?

Hopefully this will be start of many posts and comments from me. COYS, and Go (Cal) Bears.
