A Promise Regarding Luka Modric

I can't take it anymore. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. No, it's not the most egregious of absurd Luka Modric stories that we've heard during the transfer window, but I just can't take it anymore. First of all, here's a ridiculous headline from Sky: Harry denies new Modric bid.

This implies that everyone was saying ZOMG CHELSEA MADE A NEW BID FOR MODRIC which is just plain not true. I am so beyond done with all of these headline baiting BS stories that have no content. I thought the transfer window was fun, then funny for quite some time. It is now August 22, and I am now pissed.

The next time I write about Luka Modric and his status with Tottenham Hotspur and/or Chelsea FC, it will be because one of the following three things have happened:

1. Tottenham have confirmed via their official website that a fee has been agreed for the sale of Modric

2. Chelsea have confirmed via their official website that a fee has been agreed for the purchase of Modric

3. It is September 1st.

I promise that I am officially done with this stupid crap. Though I can't speak for the other writers on the site, who I will not censor, I am done speculating about the future of Luka Modric. Enjoy the actual f--king football match that's being played tonight.
