LOL, you guys. Benny is finally back and might actually make the squad for this weekend's match against Swansea City. He tweeted out that he's back in full training for the first time today, in classic Benny style.
Trainning with the team today !!! I hope as i ll remember the name of every one LOL— Benoit Assou-Ekotto (@AssouEkotto) December 12, 2012
I won't blame him if he forgets Gylfi Sigurdsson.
For those of you who are out of the loop, Tottenham Hotspur left back Benoit-Assou Ekotto has been out with a knee injury since the beginning of the season. Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Naughton have done some nice things at left back, but it's going to be a huge boost to the team to get Benny back onto the pitch. He was one of the team's most consistent performers last season, and unlike the guys filling in for him right now, he's actually a left back.
I'll give a hearty LOL for everyone if he starts on Sunday.
