Spurs - Playing for all the MarBales

Yesterday's against Blackburn was just what we needed. A dominant performance against a team that offered precious little resistance. This was excellent for us as it let us play our game for the first time in weeks. Some slick passing, excellent pressing, tackling and a cracker of a shot from Sandro plus some good running from all the lads. Rose played well, Kyle Walker was a beast, Sandro was awesome. Modric looked like he could breathe in midfield and showed off his skills especially with his stupidly good outside of the boot passing. This should give them a big boost going into the last three games.

We finally took advantage of Arsenal's slip ups and Newcastle did us a major favour by getting hammered by Wigan. Tottenham are now back in the driving seat for a Champions League place - assuming Chelsea don't troll us hardcore by beating Bayern.

Three matches. Nine points.

Bolton (A)

We've beaten Bolton twice this season by an aggregate score of 6-1. They're decent form. This should be a relatively easy three points. Chelsea play Newcastle and to quote the gaffer, they can't both win. I'm personally going for a high scoring draw between the two since it helps my Fantasy team but in all honesty I think Chelsea will beat them.

Aston Villa (A)

Let's face it, Villa suck. We could have beaten them 20-0 at White Hart Lane, they're in bad form, are under poor management and have an injury list that could be put on one of those comedic cartoony scrolls that keep going on and on and on. They tried parking the bus at WHL and we laughed at their bus. Newcastle play Man City who have been excellent and I'm expecting City to be too strong (depending on the derby result) Chelsea play Liverpool who are historically a bogey team for them but this result will heavily depend upon the FA Cup final. Going with a draw for that. Gooners play Norwich, they should win that especially at home.

Fulham (H)

If we were playing away I'd be scared but Fulham are notoriously bad travellers, especially this season. A point here would secure CL football barring an epic troll from Chelsea so we need all three in the hopes that Arsenal drop points. Their match against West Brom at the Hawthorns takes on a new dynamic with the appointment of Roy Hodgson as England manager. The Baggies are going to be eager to send him off in style and will give Arsenal a major run for their money, possibly nicking a draw. Chelsea play Blackburn at the Bridge, 3 points there and Newcastle play Everton away which is always a hard match especially with the red hot Jelavic. It looks like they'll be out of the running by this stage anyway so their result doesn't matter as much.

3 Spurs 71

4 Arsenal 70

6 Newcastle 63

Why is 3rd so important? Bale's decided to tell the media if we don't make Champions League he wants to consider his options which is a thinly veiled come and get me plea to Barcelona. If he wants CL football so badly he needs to pull his socks up and get Spurs into Europe's elite again. Same goes for Luka. But I can't make funny titles out of his name.
