According to a report from Sky Sports, Niko Kranjcar has agreed to terms with Dinamo Kiev and will be joining the Ukraine Premier League Runners-up following Euro 2012. The 27 year-old Croatian joined Tottenham Hotspur from Portsmouth in 2009, but over the past few seasons he has found himself with limited first-team opportunities.

Kranjcar is reported to have said:

The two clubs have reached an agreement, there are just a few minor details to be sorted out and I am still to define my personal terms. I will let my agent handle it as I am now completely focused on playing for the national team in Euro 2012.

There is no mention of a fee to be paid, but given Dinamo Kiev's history I would be willing to bet that the fee is somewhere between £6.5 and £8 million, though probably closer to the lower end because Kranjcar has only one year remaining on his contract. Considering that Spurs paid a reported £2.5 million for him any price in that range would make for a tidy profit.

The loss of Kranjcar puts into question just how willing Spurs will be to part company with some of their other attacking wide players. The futures of Danny Rose, Andros Townsend, Giovani Dos Santos, and Steven Pienaar could all be affected by Kranjcar's departure.
