Chris Hughton's good relationship with Tottenham Hotspur continues. He's secured Spurs' young attacking midfielder/striker Harry Kane on a season-long loan. Norwich were in some serious need of depth at the position, and the staff at Tottenham will be happy to get Kane playing in a team that plays good football, under a manager who understands how the club wants to develop their young players.
"I'm delighted to bring in someone of the quality of Harry," said Hughton on the NCFC official website. "He is a very talented young player and has bags of potential. He enjoys scoring goals as he shown coming through the ranks at Spurs and during some good loan spells as well."
Kane won't start right away at Norwich, but should have plenty of opportunities to play. It wouldn't be stunning to see Kane as an attacking midfielder behind a central striker going forward. His departure leaves Spurs a bit lacking in depth up top, but new signing Clint Dempsey can play center forward in a pinch.
