Tottenham Hotspur were drawn away to Norwich City in the fourth round of the League Cup. Spurs defeated Carlisle United 3-0 on Wednesday to advance to the fourth round, while Norwich just barely edged out Doncaster 1-0 at home.
The fourth round match will be the second between the two clubs this season. Spurs and Norwich squared off on September 1 at White Hart Lane in a contest that saw the home side go in front, only for the Canaries to snatch a late goal and earn a 1-1 draw.
It is unclear just how seriously Andre Villas-Boas plans on taking the League Cup. He started a few first team players against Carlisle, but also gave several players their first starts of the season. That was against Carlisle, though. Whether he takes the same approach against a Premier League side like Norwich, is still up in the air.
The highlight of the fourth round will be Manchester United at Chelsea, although the clash between Liverpool and Swansea should also be worth a look. Bradford City is the only League Two club left in the tournament, while Swindon Town is the last remaining club from League One.
