The One Who's Letting Us Down

P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }

I'm a quite young spurs fan, I've been following them for about 20 years now, and it recently occurred to me that during this period there has been one person who has consistently let us down both on and off the pitch. Think of the nearly wins we had at Old Trafford in recent years, with their perfectly legal disallowed goals, or the exit during our maiden Champions League adventure when we crumbled against Real Madrid, and also our also nearly Champions League qualifications under Jol and Chelsea snatching this from our hands last year. If one person had just pulled his weight a bit more we could have avoided all this and even won the Premier League and Champions League in recent years.

Not only could this one person have single handedly avoided all our recent disappointments, but also if his son had been sent to our club, who himself is extremely highly rated by all the big clubs in Europe and South America, he also could have given us a huge boost. I know that he is a controversial figure for some Spurs fans, but you cannot argue with results and on his day he is capable of turning round literally any game.

However, it doesn't stop there either. This one person is not only culpable for our one pitch failures but has also singularly failed to protect us in the bars and pubs of the cities we visit on our European travels. Admitedly, He has helped some of the families of Spurs fans in their more exotic travels in the past, and for this I'm sure we can all be very grateful. But I'm sure some of us are wondering slightly if He has abandoned us in recent times... Come on Spurs fans, it's time to put pressure on this person to make results role our way again!
