Happy Tuesday Spursland! Welcome to the doldrums guys. Still not a lot of Spurs stuff happening, and March Madness has the night off. Basically not a ton is going on so let us take a moment and salute a great hero, Private Emily Tomkins of the 4 Medical Regiment. She saved a comrade in arms after his legs blew off, dragged him to safety all while ignoring his demands that she flash him since he assumed he was dying, last request and all. You go girl.
Am I alone in thinking that he might already be thinking that his future is not here thanks to inadequate playing time? Just a hint of it, but I am seeing it.
As if we needed more proof that Walter Tull was a badass he received a citation of "coolness", nuff said start engraving the medal.
Thanks to all the people who posted this in the comments yesterday. Maybe in the future a mic on him would be an OK idea. Bit of a low talker.
Lets not get too down about this, it took them awhile to catch Osama Bin Laden too, but eventually they get the bad guys.
If this person, whoever he is reading this (and like to think he is) Don't do it for anyone else, do it for yourself. Yes if you do it it would be a great example to a lot of young people coming up in sports not knowing how to handle being gay and that would be great, but do it for yourself. This is about you and who you are, not who anybody else wants you to be.
Which is pretty cool.
