A beautiful sunset in the land of the bats

Gareth Bale signed a three-year deal to be a pundit and to be BT's ambassador. His official statement reads;

"I am delighted to continue my relationship with BT by becoming a BT Ambassador,"

"I feel honoured to join an exciting band of inspirational sporting figures, which has included Olympic heroes like the Brownlee brothers and Paralympic gold medallist Jonnie Peacock.

"A great deal has changed in my football career since my first partnership with BT, and I am happy to extend that relationship for the next three years,"

"I am excited about the launch of BT Sport and I am happy to play my part in making it a big hit."

It would be all but impossible to play a match and in Munich or Madrid and then fly the same weekend to be a pundit for BT in an English studio. But how much can we read into this? Is it just an innocuous attempt to receive a bit more income? Is it an indication that Bale has an intention of sticking in England?

Have you say in the comments because I don't know what to think and the uncertainty is killing me.
