I know there are some of you out there that are into modeling and projections and other such things, as I've seen some pretty cool posts over the past few months.
In addition to being a Spurs fan, I'm also a graduate student. One of my favorite aspects of what I'm studying (Public Administration) is statistics, and have always done well in these classes. So...to get to the point...
I'm tasked with a very simple paper (I'm actually doing my course requirements in reverse, long story) in which the most complicated thing I'm calculating is a chi-square, and using no more than 5 explanatory variables. My question isn't a technical one, it's a logistical one.
I want to do my paper on something interesting, and I figured I might as well consider soccer. The biggest problem I'm going to have for this if I go with this topic is, of course, gathering enough data.
TLDR; Does anyone have a lead on where I can get my hands on gobs of statistics on anything soccer related?
