Getting worried about striker...

Okay, maybe seeking a little reassurance here, but a couple of outlets, actually mostly the Mirror (so firmly in batcountry land) have suggested that we can only bid for Benteke once Ade is sold. And this is where I am worried and am beginning to really hate Ade. Apparently Besiktas have had a bit accepted, and they'll match his wages, but he refuses to be 'pushed out' of Spurs. Apart from the fact that this is illogical (they want you, we don't) it is so typically him. This is why the Gooners and Man City fans came to hate him so much, it all starts great, quickly goes sour, and when it does he's like a bad smell you can't get rid of. I know that these publications can't be trusted, but unfortunately it makes business sense. We can't spend about 20 mill on Benteke and wages surely until we know Ade and his ridiculous wages are out the door yes? But what if he just won't go?! Or what if it takes all summer and we're forced to start the season with Defoe and and Ade? I'm definitely not of the school that 'we can still do well with those two etc. etc.', and so my fears about a striker are starting to ramp up a bit... What do people think?
