Ok, so I don't know about anybody else but I've been watching the story of Higuain to Woolwich unfold with more than a little envy.
He's 25 years old. Ridiculously talented, and transfer listed. His price is rumoured to be 30m euro and his wages are listed on Google as being €3.5m a year.
Which equates to €67k a week. (£57k)
Is it completely out of the realm of possibilities that we could go for this guy,
I know we have no UCL to offer, but we've beaten Woolwich to transfers before.
We've not even been linked or mentioned alongside his name, which disappoints me because targets that are realistic for Arsenal are usually realistic for us too.
I know that they're shooting a little higher this window, I'm just praying that behind the scenes we are too.
I'm not saying that we have a good chance of landing Higuain, I'm just saying that I hope to god that we're at least pushing for it.
He's affordable, available and we have a good relationship with his club, he's open to the idea of a move to England, and specifically London,
Literally the only thing I can think of that holds us back on this one is lack of Champions League football,
Improbable but not impossible,
