I'm not sure why a Times reporter tweeting something the Belgian team doctor said is the first information that's come out about Jan Vertonghen's injury, but here goes.

I'll buy it when Andre Villas-Boas says it or the team announces it, though they've been really bad at actually doing this forever. I'm not sure why the Belgian team doctor would have this information before anyone else while Vertonghen is in Hong Kong with Spurs, so I'm not exactly buying this.
