Benoit Assou-Ekotto tweets that he's going to QPR

Shaun Botterill

Good luck to you and Harry, Disco Benny.

LOL Benny has a message for you on Twitter LOL. The Tottenham Hotspur left back has tweeted that he's headed for Queens Park Rangers, where he will re-join former manager Harry Redknapp.

That's as good as confirmation that he's off, but there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Is he going on loan or on a permanent deal? He only has one year remaining on his contract. If he's going on loan, did we give him a one-year contract extension?

There's also the question of whether or not Tom Carroll will join Benny at QPR. They were linked to a double loan move earlier in the day. There's also the question of whether or not Spurs will sign a left back.

Still a bit of news to come from Spurs, it seems, even if it's minor news.
