Predictions for the Season

I decided to do a list of predictions for the season so I could come back at the end of the season and look at how terribly wrong i got it at the end of the season. This is all wild speculation. Some might feel like safe bets but come the end of the season I'll realise just how ridiculous this sounds. Feel free to add in.

* Yedlin and Mussachio join Spurs and that completes the list of new arrivals. Yedlin goes back to the MLS till Jan.

*BAE finds no buyers, goes on loan. Khumalo gets sold.

*We can't get rid of Dawson. He loses his place in the team and retires at the end of the season not wanting to go anywhere else.

*Carroll goes on a season long loan to Derby where he looks solid but not spectacular

*Adebayor has a bright start to the season but loses his place in the starting line up. Isn't happy playing Europa games and causes problems. Soldado finds his feet eventually and gets injured just as he starts scoring goals. Adebayor reclaims his spot but doesn't press well enough leaving us short of options up front. Kane looks bright, but not prolific.

*Eriksen doesn't look all that great in this system but doesn't get stick due to scoring a few goals and set piece delivery. Holtby, on the other hand, looks great and pushes for Eriksen's spot.

*Lamela is awesome and is our player of the season.

*Both Paulinho and Dembele don't look great causing Bentaleb to claim a first team spot. Capoue and Sandro alternate in the same role and look solid. Dembele is sold in January.

*Townsend finally shows like he knows what he's doing and chips in with goals. Lennon doesn't and makes us regret not selling him and buying a backup.

*Rose plays really well in the Europa League but Davies is preferred in the PL where he looks extremely solid. both end with good seasons.

*Jan rediscovers his form and shows Barcelona that they bought the wrong Belgian. Kaboul stays away from major injuries but has a few derps costing us points. He signs a new 2 year contract. Chiriches shines again and demands a move at the end of the season to a 'bigger club'.

*Walker doesn't have a great season and Naughton gets destroyed by a few wingers again. Injuries cause us to deploy natural center backs at right back. The Fredricks buzz disappears.

That's for Spurs. Here goes for other teams.

*United look excellent up front but struggle defensively. Rooney and RVP become the new 'SAS'. Mata shows his class.

*City lose a lot of games to big teams. The Ethihad is no longer a fortress like it was.

*Mourinho gets his act together and pushes for the league. Chelsea start to look like Athletico Madrid. The 'boring football' tag disappears.

*Arsenal have big problems defensively due to lack of depth and injuries. Callum Chambers looks promising but unpolished.Sanchez has a solid season while Ozil has another disappointment. The Rasmey hype disappears. Yaya Sanogo completely tears apart lesser teams earning great acclaim. Giroud has a solid season.

*Redknapp gets sacked mid season and is replaced by Hoddle who proves to be another Redknapp.

*Sturridge gets injured and Liverpool no longer have a prolific forward to rely upon. We hear the term "New Spurs" too many times to count. Markovic flops. Lallana and Sterling look like the only capable players. Gerard shows that he's lost it.

*Everton recede due to lack of squad depth. Newcastle has a resurgence.
