Happy Thursday, Spursland! So DeAndre Yedlin, the young speedster, has completed a move to Spurs. Whooray! He looked excellent and down right dangerous offensively in the World Cup and that sparked talks that since he isn't a great defender (yet) so he could be moving forward to be more of a winger. His college coach Caleb porter had this to say about a potential move to the wing.
"Could he be a winger? Yes. But when you look at the top wingers, he's never going to be more technical and more clever off the dribble and in his combination and movement than those guys are. He just doesn't have that. But at right back? With his athleticism, bombing forward, going box to box? Right now, this is just the tip of the iceberg"
Seems like he thinks the kid can't get the job done offensively. Remind anyone of another coach, talking about another speedy Tottenham fullback? I'm calling it now, in three years we will be selling Yedlin to Spain for mucho money. Then we will probably blow it all on terrible players.

Welbeck To Hull In Shock Move?- The Busby Babe
That has got to be depressing news for Welbeck. One day you think that you are on the level of the biggest club in England (yes, the biggest) and the next you are shipped off to Yorkshire, eating that pudding that isn't pudding at all. It's just something that disappoints little boys visiting from America when it comes to the table. Fuck you, Yorkshire pudding!
