Team News

-This weekend's match is hosting Manchester United at the Lane. Kickoff is Sunday at 11 am ET.

-Just posted a look at the stadium debacle earlier, so be sure to check that out. This might be another sticking point: a move to Olympic Stadium could mean a forced name change for the club. Not too thrilled about that.

-Spurs & Portsmouth are going to debate money over a Pompey signee that Tottenham said they agreed to a deal.

-Do we need to rename the blog to Groin Free Captain? Injury woes for Ledley King continue.

-Leicester City has extended right back Kyle Naughton's loan until the end of the season.

-The Welsh Football Association is standing firm, and the chances that Gareth Bale would compete for a Great Britain team at the 2012 Olympics have been dashed.

-David Bentley promises to revive his career while on loan. The Guardian's Simon Burnton says it's too late.

Transfer Buzz

-Although he covets Phil Neville on a transfer, Harry is also looking at a more realistic target in Man U bench rider Wes Brown

-Newcastle for Niko?

-Spurs are in contention for not one but two different young players: Southampton's Alex Oklade-Chamberlain & Serbian playmaker Radoslav Petrovic.

-Picking up a goalie on free transfer? Sure, why not?

-Get used to these rumors. This will probably be one of the first in a long line of many.

-Apparently Vedran Corluka is on the market due to Alan Hutton's "recent form." Ha ha ha...oh...don't you dare Harry.
