Good News On Jonathan Woodgate And Jamie O'Hara

After I went out for breakfast and coffee this morning, I came home to some spectacular news on Jonathan Woodgate and Jamie O'Hara, both of whom have been out with long term injuries. Courtesy of the official twitter feed of Tottenham Hotspur:

Good news - Jonathan Woodgate and Jamie O'Hara both back from injury and played 45 minutes for our Spurs XI v QPR this afternoon.less than a minute ago via web

Woot! It's great to see these two players back with the reserves. It's unclear whether or not they will ever be back to their old selves and able to play a role for Spurs, but that's not really important. What's important is that both of these guys get healthy. I'm not really thinking about what they can do for the team or potential sale prices, I'm not bothered by that at all. I'm just happy to see two of our players get their careers back on track.

So, everyone, let's give a round of applause for Jonathan Woodgate and Jamie O'Hara. Hopefully both of them will be back playing competitive, first team football for someone in the near future. I would love to see both of them go out on short term loans to Championship clubs at the end of the season to get back to full fitness and playing speed so that they can continue their professional football careers as soon as possible.
