Blackburn Rovers vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Lineups and Live Match Thread

Happy Spursday! Today Tottenham Hotspur travel to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers. In case you missed it, yesterday Kevin wrote an excellent preview that has more information and analysis in it than I could ever hope to provide.

What I do know is that as of right now, Blackburn are propping up the table and, following yesterday's slate of games, Tottenham are sixth. By simple logic that makes us better than them. Seriously though, this is a game we should be winning. I have us down for a 4-0 victory in the staff prediction league, which oddly hasn't been posted yet. I'm sure it will go up after the game and Mechanick will have "miraculously" picked the exact right score.

Harry Redknapp sends out the team most of expected. With the exception of the pairing in central defense this is about as close to a full strength line-up as we've seen this season. It looks as though Gareth Bale will be playing on the left, which is good news for us. Oddly, Scott Parker has been named captain for today's match.

Tottenham XI: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Modric, Parker, Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor Subs: Cudicini, Rose, Livermore, Sandro, Townsend, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko

Blackburn XI: Robinson; Givet, Samba,Olsson, Lowe; Vukcevic, Formica, Nzonzi, Gamst Pedersen, Hoilett; Roberts Subs: Bunn, Petrovic, Slew, Rochina, Yakubu, Goodwillie, Hanley

To my knowledge this game is not on TV anywhere live in the United States so please feel free to discuss alternative means of viewing it.
