Happy Friday Spursland! There's big stuff to look forward to this weekend. We have a game against some such team and it's Halloween weekend. Be sure to drink safely in your ridiculous costumes and for your pre-gaming pleasure be sure to download the forthcoming episode of Wheeler Dealer Radio. Also, If your costume is Spurs themed you should let us know about it.

And now the "news"

Spurs Linked With Peterborough Defender-Sky Sports

I like the signing of a young defender. Not as much as I like the signing of someone more proven and in the 25 to 26 range, but I like the stockpiling talent strategy.

Spurs Linked With Moroccan Defender-Tottenhamblog.com

I like a move for this young man a little bit more, in the short term, rather than the youngster from Peterborough. He is 24 and a little more well established in Serie A. Downside is that he is going to cost way more, which as anyone who knows anything about Spurs knows is exactly what Daniel Levy likes to here.

Could Pav Be Set To Join QPR-Tottenhamblog.com

This actually sounds like it could be beneficial to both clubs. Weird.

A Little Bit On The On The So Called CONCACAF Champions League Curse-SB Nation Soccer

I'd like for us as the general sporting community of humanity to put a moratorium on curses for the next 40 years saving for times when animals were directly involved and only at the grounds. Too many curses and none of them are cool, meaningful, or justified as curses. It's like how in American politics every single little controversy and gaffe is now called "insert fill in the blank"-gate. It's dumb. I hate it and I think the fine members of the CFC community will back me up on this.
