Scott Parker, Kyle Walker Called Into England Squad For Euro 2012 Qualifier

England are already in Euro 2012 unless Montenegro win their next two games by a combined 10 goals, but they still have to get a result at Wembley during the international break to confirm their place. Scott Parker has been called into Fabio Capello's side, which is absolutely no surprise, but in a bit of a shock move, Kyle Walker has also made the team. England is light at the right back position at the moment with Glen Johnson injured and foreigners starting for most of the top clubs, almost giving Walker a place in the team by default.

The Three Lions face a tough, but very much beatable Montenegro side on Friday. Any result but a massive Montenegro win will see England secure a place in next summer's big tournament. Capello will probably opt to give a start to one of his more athletic and intelligent central defenders at right back, but it wouldn't be completely stunning to see Walker start.

It's always great to see our boys get called up by their national teams and I'm sure it's an honor for Parker and Walker to pull on the England shirt, but it'll always make me uneasy. Michael Dawson's injury that he picked up on England duty was an absolute killer last season, and Ledley King was even more limited than he normally is after his trip to the World Cup. I hope that Walker gets his first cap because I know that's what he wants, but more than anything, I hope both come back 100 percent fit.
