Following some minor heart surgery and a nice lay-off for the international break, Tottenham Hotspur gaffer Harry Redknapp will be returning to the Spurs dugout for their match against Aston Villa on Monday. After seeing Kevin Bond bring on Jermain Defoe for Rafael van der Vaart in a match where we couldn't win back possession, I am IMMENSELY THRILLED ABOUT THIS DEVELOPMENT.

Of course, we don't actually know if Harry would have brought on Sandro or Steven Pienaar in that situation. In fact, prior evidence suggests that he would have made the exact same change, but I can pretend that Harry always makes more informed decisions than Kevin Bond. I like pretending.

In all seriousness, it's fantastic that Harry Redknapp has recovered from his heart surgery and that he's healthy. It'll be great to see him back in the dugout on Monday evening. How his heart health holds up will probably have a lot to do with our form and how well his tax evasion trial goes.
