Rafael van der Vaart has recovered from his hamstring injury and has fit. I was going to find out what the o/u was on "Number of times Kevin writes that sentence this season" but Vegas took it off the board. Since Jermaine Defoe played 90 minutes against PAOK Salonika on Thursday, VDV will almost certainly start up top behind Emmanuel Adebayor.

Sandro is apparently battling some fitness issues, which explains why he wasn't in the 18 against PAOK. He's questionable for the Bolton Wanderers match, and I'd be willing to guess that he doesn't get on the pitch. I don't see any reason to believe that Luka Modric can't start again, he looked very fit at the end of the PAOK match.

Niko Kranjcar, Tom Huddlestone and Michael Dawson are still out with long-term injuries. But, as we saw with Danny Rose this week, that doesn't really mean anything and one of them could miraculously play anyway.
