Ledley King is still Ledley King. Younes Kaboul has a slight hamstring injury. Both are very unlikely to play for Tottenham Hotspur against Norwich City on
Boxing Day the day after Boxing Day. As everyone knows, Michael Dawson is still out injured. This means that we are very likely to see a central defense pairing of Sebastien Bassong and William Gallas.
This, on the surface, is kind of scary. Against most newly promoted teams in most years, we would feel like they could get the job done, but Norwich is a slightly different animal. They are a very good promoted side who look like they will not have a problem staying up, and Grant Holt is in spectacular form. Even if Norwich stay up, they're going to have trouble holding onto him this summer. Norwich has done a great job getting crosses into the box for their strikers this season, and this is something that all of Spurs' defenders are average at dealing with.
Here's the good news: Bassong has been decent in most of his appearances this year, while Gallas was very good against Chelsea. This might not be the end of the world. OR WE MAY LET IN 10 GOALS.
