The end of Tottenham Hotspur's European campaign seems to also be the end of several player's spells with the club this season. Striker Harry Kane and midfielder Ryan Mason will be the first youngsters to depart on loan. Both will be heading to Championship side Millwall beginning on January 1st.
Aside from his experience in the Europa League for Spurs Kane has never played above League One, so this seems like a logical step for the 19 year-old. Mason played in the Championship last season while on loan at Doncaster. Both will help upgrade a Lions attack that has been lackluster this season, managing only 24 goals in 23 league matches.
Expect many more loans to come. Tom Carroll, Ryan Fredericks, and Andros Townsend are all likely to go out on loan. Townsend, in fact, has already been linked with a move to Leeds. Also, don't be surprised if players like Danny Rose and Jake Livermore also go out in January in effort to get them more first team football.
