Mayday! Mayday! Gareth Bale is maybe a little injured! EVERYONE PANIC !!!1!! CAPS LOCK!!!!! According to Tottenham Hotspur's official site is reporting that Tottenham have a few injury concerns heading into Sunday evening's match against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium. The most concerning of which is Gareth Bale.

"We’ve one or two knocks," said Harry. "Jermain has had a bit of a hamstring this week, Ledley took a bang on the knee in training last week and Gareth has had a problem this week. We’ll wait and see how they are."

As we all know, King did not play last week. He was replaced in the starting line-up by William Gallas who did a good job in his first Premier League appearance of the season. With regard to Bale, he apparently picked up a "slight knock" against Bolton Wanderers. There's no details on what this knock is, but its characterization as "slight" leads me to believe that Bale will be fine. Defoe's knock shouldn't be too much an issue, because Rafael Van der Vaart has returned to full fitness.

A match away to Stoke City is never easy and it would be nice to have Gareth Bale in the squad, particularly with Danny Rose, Niko Kranjcar, and Giovanni Dos Santos all out injured. If Bale is unable to go, it seems likely that Luka Modric will be moved out to the left midfield spot with Sandro slotting into the center alongside Scott Parker.
