Good evening in the UK, afternoon in the eastern United States, and morning in the western United States. It's time for Tottenham Hotspur vs. Sunderland, and this is your live match thread. Feeling confident, Yids? Not I. I've got a little bit of a bit in my stomach and I'm not optimistic about this match. I'd be feeling super fine if we had our entire first team available, but this is hardly the case today. It's a bit of a makeshift lineup, but at least Harry Redknapp has decided to go to his hot hands. After combining for the winner last week against Bolton, both Roman Pavlyuchenko and Niko Kranjcar are in a weird looking lineup as Spurs go 4-4-2.
Tottenham Hotspur lineup (4-4-2): Gomes ; Assou-Ekotto, Dawson, Gallas, Corluka ; Pienaar, Jenas, Sandro, Kranjcar ; Defoe, Pavlyuchenko
Sunderland lineup (4-5-1): Gordon ; Bardsley, Bramble, Mensah, Onouha ; Richardson, Henderson, Muntari, Malbranque, Sessegnon ; Gyan
I'm going to assume that Chelsea are not in total free fall mode, so this is must win for us. Kickoff is at 12:30 pm ET in the United States. You can catch the game on Fox Soccer Channel.
