Somewhere in the northwest of England, Sandro is wondering what he has to do to win the affection of his manager, Harry Redknapp. The Brazilian has not been selected to start Tottenham Hotspur's English Premier League match against Blackpool FC, much to the dismay of the entire Cartilage Free Captain community, I'm going to assume. The rest of the lineup is as expected. William Gallas will be playing right back in the absence of Alan Hutton, Vedran Corluka, and Younes Kaboul, while Danny Rose has been re-called from loan and is on the bench.
On the other hand, Blackpool's lineup is...interesting. It's not one they've ever fielded before, but who am I to judge? It could turn out fabulously. After all, Ian Holloway is awesome.
Tottenham Hotspur lineup (4-4-2): Gomes; Assou-Ekotto, Bassong, Dawson, Gallas; Pienaar, Modric, Palacios, Lennon; Defoe, Pavlyuchenko
Blackpool FC lineup (4-3-3): Kingson; Baptiste, Evatt, Cathcart, Eardley; Vaughan, Sylvestre, Adam; Campbell, Kornilenko, Beattie
You can catch the match on Fox Soccer Plus or FoxSoccer.tv in the United States. Kickoff is at 3pm eastern time.
