Because I'm a miserable soul who has nothing better to do than watch crappy international football, I'll be spending today keeping an eye on Tottenham Hotspur's players who are involved in international fixtures. Obviously, time constraints, availability of streams, and my general disinterest in watching Scotland vs. Northern Ireland and Cameroon vs. Macedonia prevents me from keeping up on everyone, but I'll do my best. Croatia vs. Czech Republic is an early match, kicking off at 11:45 am ET. England vs. Denmark comes at 2:30 pm ET.
Here's a listing of all of the games Spurs players will be participating in:
Croatia vs. Czech Republic: Niko Kranjcar, Vedran Corluka, Stipe Pletikosa
England vs. Denmark: Michael Dawson, Jermain Defoe, Kyle Walker
France vs. Brazil: Sandro
Cameroon vs. Macedonia: Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Sebastien Bassong
Russia vs. Iran: Roman Pavlyuchenko
South Africa vs. Kenya: Steven Pienaar, Bongani Khumalo
Scotland vs. Northern Ireland: Alan Hutton
Mexico vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina: Giovani Dos Santos
Honduras vs. Ecuador: Wilson Palacios
England U-20 vs. France U-20: Steven Caulker, Ryan Mason, Dean Parrett, Adam Smith
Kyle Naughton played 90 minutes yesterday in England U-21's 1-0 loss to Italy U-21.
Most of these games are available legally in the United States on either FoxSoccer.tv or ESPN3.com. I'll be watching the two games listed in the headline, as well as Mexico-Bosnia for sure. I'll do what I can on the others and would love anyone keeping up with the others to leave commentary for your fellow community members.
