Add Aaron Lennon to the list of Tottenham Hotspur wingers nursing an injury. Lennon had to be sent home from the England team after experiencing discomfort in his hamstring and while it has been deemed a precaution, there has to be concern with Gareth Bale also nursing a hamstring injury. Bale is a doubt for both this weekend's English Premier League match against Wigan and Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid, putting even greater emphasis on Lennon's ability to give Spurs width.
Lennon didn't make the 18 for Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales and with several players sent back to their clubs ahead of Tuesday's friendly against Ghana, Lennon was expected to see the field for the Three Lions. That will no longer happen as Lennon is back with Tottenham to get scans on his hamstring. It is expected that they will reveal nothing major, but with a key stretch of games coming up it is vital that Spurs have as many of their top players as possible available and healthy.
