Inter Milan Vs. Schalke 04, UEFA Champions League: Because This Post Isn't Appropriate Anywhere Else

As most of you know, I support Schalke 04 in addition to Tottenham Hotspur. I am infinitely more nervous for this game than I am for Spurs' game. Why? Because I won't be disappointed if Spurs don't get a result. How can you be disappointed with your team for struggling at the Santiago Bernabeu against a team that has some of the best players in the world? Before the odd match this weekend, they hadn't lost there under Mourinho. Inter are a different story. Yes, they have world class players and yes, they are one of the biggest teams in the world, but there are cracks in the armor. Madrid's loss this weekend was an odd one-off thing, and it was caused partially by a tactical mistake by Mourinho. What are the chances that happens again? Non-existent.

Inter, though. They have obvious problems that Madrid do not. They were crap against Milan on the weekend, and they struggle against teams with width. There's a very good chance that Jefferson Farfan could have a big impact on the game. Manuel Neuer is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he can keep the team in the game by himself. Schalke have a small chance, but it is a chance.

Today, I will be watching both Champions League games, and it's going to be rough. There will certainly be some downs while my teams are playing Madrid and Inter, but hopefully there are plenty of ups too.

I will be covering Inter Milan Vs. Schalke 04 right here. If you want to keep up with that game while you're watching Spurs, just keep your browser on that window.
