Radamel Falcao is an amazing footballer, as most of you probably know by now. With his spectacular performances in the Europa League for FC Porto this season, he broke the all-time record for most goals scored in a European competition in one year. Over the last two seasons, the Colombian international has scored 73 goals in all competitions for Porto. He's sick, and any team would be thrilled to have him.
Earlier today, a CFC community member posted a link to a Goal.com story where Falcao's agent claims that both Spurs and Arsenal are willing to meet his client's £26m release clause. The replies, instantly, were "it's Goal, it's probably BS." Well, now Sky Sports is reporting the same thing.
Even if Spurs and Arsenal are not willing to pay that much for Falcao and they have not made any approach, it's probably safe to say that his agent actually did utter those words if they're appearing on multiple sites. I think the chances of us actually landing Falcao are similar to the chances that Scarlet Johansson knocks on my door tonight, bu it's fun to think about. If Levy actually has £26m that he wants to spend on a player, he's not doing any better than Falcao.
