Tottenham Hotspur's star winger and 2011 PFA Player of the Year Gareth Bale is out for the rest of the season, and he is expected to miss the beginning of our preseason. Lucky, Bale did not sustain any broken bones after suffering a hard tackle from Charlie Adam on Saturday afternoon, but he did damage ankle ligaments, and the injury is expected to keep him out until August.
Currently, Tottenham Hotspur are very much in danger of not making it to Europe. While we can have an endless debate about whether making Europa League is actually a good or bad thing for the club's short-term future, the fact is that this team is still trying to win games. They have three games left, and winning them without Bale is going to be very hard, because he is one of our best attacking players. Even if you think we're better off missing Europe than having to deal with the fixture congestion of Europa League, this seriously sucks.
Also, Charlie Adam is a dick.
