Tottenham Hotspur's Best XI Of The Decade: Paul Robinson

The Number  1 for our Tottenham Hotspur Best XI of the Decade is Paul Robinson. Robinson beat out his closest rival for the position by almost a three to one margin.

Robinson was known for many things during his tenure at Spurs. His thunderous kicks (and of course his goal against Watford), his shotstopping, and most of all his relationship with the fans. Though at the time David Pleat brought him to Spurs Robinson was a Leeds boy through and through, he was born and raised in Yorkshire and when Leeds was relegated he cried, he came to be a favorite son of the White Hart Lane faithful.

Not only was Robinson a consistent part of Spurs teams that began a new era and march toward glory for the club, but he was a major part of one of Tottenham Hotspur's stingiest defenses. Sure, he made some errors, but I'm pretty sure his faults only endeared him to Tottenham Hotspur fans even more.

Congratulations Paul Robinson. Welcome to the squad.
