Tottenham Hotspur's Best XI Of The Decade: Dimitar Berbatov

The first portion of the strike pairing in our Tottenham Hotspur Best XI of the Decade has been finalized and it will be Dimitar Berbatov who wears the number 9 shirt. The Bulgarian received 65% of the vote. During his time with Spurs he played 102 games, scoring 46 goals in all competitions.

Berbatov's technical ability and composure in front of goal were second to none. His passing wasn't too bad either and I don't know if I could count the number of times he played Keane or Defoe through with a perfect through ball only to see his strike partner fluff the chance (though at the time Keane did finish a few of them).

Despite the contentious circumstances under which Berbatov left I'm sure many Spurs would welcome him back. I personally would walk to Manchester (not an easy thing when you consider I'm starting in Atlanta) and carry him down to White Hart Lane.

Only one more position left in our Best XI list and the second striker position looks like it will come down to a duel between Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane. Should be interesting!
