Happy Tuesday to you Spurs fans. I don't know if you have noticed, but it's just 11 days until preseason football starts. Thats just 37 days until the season kicks of against Everton. Tick tock boys, we need a signing. I no longer hope for a player that "should" put us over the top. I hope for Leandro, and that during the season Harry makes better tactical decisions during games. So no more Jenas, OK? With just that we can be top four this season.

And now the news

Redknapp Ready To Loan Livermore And Khumalo-Sky Sports

Makes sense, these guys need games, and they won't get them unless they are loaned out. It's good to see that Spurs haven't forgotten about Livermore, I still have some hope for him to have a future at Spurs, but most likely he will be sold in the future for profit.

Van Der Vaart Believes Modric Will Leave-The Sun

Rafa, we appreciate you declaring that you wouldn't be moving, as soon as the season ended. However this little quote you just gave out is not exactly helping. More time spent with your really, really, really hot wife, less time answering questions about people who aren't you, from the media.

Spooky Breaks Down Harry Redknapp's Extended Sky Sports Interview-Dear Mr Levy

Harry addresses the re-signings of Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, and the Luka Modric situation. (video included)

What's happening around SB Nation after the jump

Turkey Rocked By Massive Match Fixing Scandal- SB Nation Soccer

If you are thinking to yourself "hmm, this sounds vaguely familiar", thats probably because the same thing happened last year. This year among those detained is the Chairman of Fenerbahce. So thats not a big deal, right?

Barca Blaugranes Now In Espanol-Barca Bluagrnes

I love this, once a week Barca Bluagranes will be doing a post entirely in Spanish, and while I don't speak Spanish I think it's great for a Spanish club blog to at least do some Spanish only coverage.

Clichy Completes City Transfer-Bitter And Blue

So the team that is so big that they must loan out almost 1/4 of their players each year to get down to the 25 man roster have made another signing. Sure, why not.

Everton Are In Really Tight Financial Shape-Royal Blue Mersey

Much of what makes Spurs, Spurs is the inevitable let down. The constant despair. The ever present hope that will be cruelly snuffed out at the last possible minute. But if you are in the mood to feel a lot better about the club, and get seriously slapped into sobriety about the club's current situation, read this. Everton are perhaps the most cash strapped club in the league and they consistently do less with more than anyone. Everton, we salute you, up until we play you at which point Welsh Jesus will run wild all over you.
