Yep. Thanks to the riots in London that originated in Tottenham, the opening English Premier League match of the season between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton has been postponed. Richard Scudamore is confident that the other nine games will go on because the Premiership exists as a giant conspiracy against Spurs.

Okay, all jokes aside, I'm not pissed at Richard Scudamore. If there were little to no police available to be in the area around the stadium and the safety of the people attending the match could not be ensured, then it needed to be put off. I don't know enough about the current situation in London, the police available, and whether or not the area immediately surrounding the stadium is dangerous at this time. They probably made the right call.

However, I am pissed at the complete morons who caused this to happen. I was pissed at them before the game got cancelled - because who doesn't hate brainless rioters - but I am now exponentially more annoyed. To the left are Gareth Bale's feelings on the matter.
