It's your move now Daniel Levy or at least that's how it seems to be after Twente striker/winger Bryan Ruiz issued a "come and get me" plea to Tottenham Hotspur earlier today. The Costa Rican scored an incredible goal over the weekend for FC Twente and he hopes that it will go a long way to eliminating any doubts about him. Ruiz told Voetbal International,

I hope that my goal has removed any doubt from the minds of Spurs and any other clubs. The reluctance of clubs (to sign me) cannot be to do with my technical skills. I showed what I can do last season with Twente. My physical condition is not a concern. I am fit.

About a week ago interest in Ruiz seemed to be high and if ITK is to be believed (which it isn't) a deal was imminent. Since then, for some unknown reason, interest seems to have waned and Ruiz is left in limbo in Holland while Spurs continued their search for a striker elsewhere.

As I've stated previously, I'm not the best person to ask when it comes to information about Ruiz. That's definitely either Mechanick's or Kevin's territory. Hell, I'm still not sure if he's a striker or a winger. I can tell you that he wouldn't be my first choice of striker for the club to buy, but for the right price I'm sure I could be pleased with this deal.
