Anyone who isn't a Spurs supporter and, therefore, wanting to see their young players in action is probably not awake to read this match report. Hell, I love this team so much I started a website about them and even I'm half asleep. While it was nice to see all of our kids get a run-out, the UEFA Europa League playoff round, second leg match between Tottenham Hotspur and Heart of Midloathian was an absolute snoozer.
The 'highlight' of the match was almost certainly Harry Kane drawing a penalty in the 29th minute. He proceeded to miss that penalty. You'll get him next time, Hurricane!
As for our other youngsters: Andros Townsend looked dangerous, but had no end product after his pacey runs and dove a fair amount. Tom Carroll and Ryan Fredericks didn't really do a whole lot. Jake Livermore was okay. Jake Nicholson wasn't terrible when he came on.
Oh, Roman Pavlyuchenko. He was bad. He'll probably get sued by a martian for property damage.
I'm sorry for the lack of thorough reporting, but this game SUCKED and meant nothing. We'll be back to your regularly scheduled 'giving a shit' tomorrow.
