Edin Dzeko starts up top for Manchester City against Tottenham Hotspur and could cause serious problems for the Spurs defense

Good morning/early afternoon, depending on where you reside, Spursland. We're just about 20 minutes away from kickoff in the English Premier League matchup between Tottehnam Hotspur and Manchester City at White Hart Lane. Spurs are definitely not favorites in this one, despite playing at home. The good news for Tottenham fans is that Luka Modric has returned to the lineup. There is some bad news, though. This is your live match thread, and here are your lineups.

Tottenham Hotspur lineup (4-4-1-1): Friedel; Corluka, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Kranjcar, Modric, Bale; Van der Vaart; Crouch

Substitutes from: Cudicini, Bassong, Walker, Huddlestone, Livermore, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko

Manchester City lineup (4-4-2): Hart; Zabaleta, Clichy, Kompany, Lescott; Barry, Yaya, Silva, Nasri; Aguero, Dzeko

Substitutes from: Pantilimon, Richards, Savic, Milner, A. Johnson, Tevez and Balotelli

As proof that you really can't trust a word that anyone at our club says, Peter Crouch was listed not as a doubt, but out for this game. He starts up top. Niko Kranjcar starts next to Luka Modric in midfield, giving us the least defensively sound midfield in the history of the Premiership. City give Samir Nasri a start in his first match, and they can bring Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli off their bench. That shit cray.

The game kicks off at 8:30 am ET, 1:30 pm BST. You can see it on Fox Soccer Channel in the USA, ESPN in the UK, and Setanta Sports in Canada.
