Happy Deadline day Spursland! Oh yeah, this is it. The big one, the time when Redknapp/Levy shine. This is the time when all the magic happens. Now some of you may judge the success of this day based on who we sell and who we sign. I will not be among you, for today is a magical day. It is a day when I, for the most part, cease to be the typical cynic and instead just let myself roll with it and let this day take me for the ride. I'll save judgment for tomorrow. I invite you to join me, it's the only way I will be able to stay sane.
In addition, today's Spurs news in the Hoddle is a little bit light. I don't want to rehash any of the great reporting our staff did yesterday. And yesterday was only the eve of deadline day. All the boys will be here in full force today to meet your every Tottenham deadline day need.
And now the "news"
Pav Wants Out After Adebayor Loan-Daily Mail
Believe it or not they have an actual quote, a real life quote from Super Pav himself. I didn't think that was allowed at that paper. Bryan Ashlock will have more on this later this morning.
Spurs Planning 16.5 million Leandro Swoop-Sambafoot
If we get Leandro then I am calling this transfer period salvaged. If we don't then I will slander management until they send me a fruit basket. Our new Yank keeper was a surprisingly nice pick up, and we all love Adebayor's loan deal, but we did not do enough to move the dead wood out or bring enough new players in if this is how the transfer window ends. Signing Leandro would just tip the scales towards the positive for me.
What's happening around SB Nation after the jump

Keep your lazy ass parked right here for up to the moment transfer news from the big three leagues from the entire SB Nation Soccer staff.
Paolo Di Canio, Still Crazy-SB Nation Soccer
Well who could have predicted that? Not like he has a history of doing crazy things.
Hleb To Wolfsburg?-Barca Blaugranes
So if you want to hear someone complain about his club signing Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas, I guess here you go. As Spurs fans we like to believe that we have cornered the market on football fueled disappointment and depression, it is clear now that every football supporter is afflicted with this.
Wesley Sneijder Is Staying In Italy-We Ain't Got No Nistory
Suprise, nobody can afford to pay this one player £200k a week. Money is eating the game alive folks, get used to it. When a player's wages are too much for Fat Roman then something is wrong with how much that player makes.
