I'd like everyone to go out and put on some claret and blue because our new second-favorite team is Aston Villa. They're already in talks to sign the worst player in the history of Spurs * , Alan Hutton, and now Sky Sports says that they are talking about bringing in the second worst player in the history of Spurs, Jermaine Jenas. Honestly, if these two deals go through I will...I can't think of happy enough things to do in celebration.

* Maybe worst player ever is an exaggeration, but only slightly.

Jenas has proven himself capable of doing absolutely nothing in his time at Spurs. He's positionally poor, weak in the tackle, lazy and gives the ball away too easily. The shame is that hes actually talented and occasionally resembles a professional footballer, but it is all too rare. Jermaine, you're getting the boot...hopefully.

There were rumors that Jake Livermore might go to West Ham in the Scott Parker deal, but it is a good thing he didn't. Wilson Palacios is all but wrapped up to Stoke and if Jenas goes then Spurs will be a little thin in the midfield. Livermore has shown he is quality enough already to be relied upon at times so Spurs have the cover they need if Jenas leaves. With the youngster in the fold, don't worry about depth. Just wave Jenas goodbye.
