Harry Found Out About Sandro's Contract The Same Way We Did

In this day in age, most contracts are negotiated by the chairman or director of football of a football club, not the manager. Gone are the days of managers who handle every aspect of a club's player policy. However, it seems like the chairman or director of football usually gives the manager a heads up that he's going to sign a player.

Harry Redknapp and Daniel Levy do not have that kind of relationship, as we all know. See, Harry found out about Sandro's new five-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur the exact same way we did: Sky Sports!

"I was pleased to see that on Sky Sports News. It was good, I never had a clue. I was pleased to see it but I didn't know anything about it...I don't get involved in that really, the chairman deals with that. Managers don't get involved anymore in negotiations. It's been like that for years and years, which is fine. I have enough on my plate worrying about picking teams and working with the players. Daniel loves doing that so he gets on with it."

Come on Dan, you can't shoot him a text?
