Yesterday's win was fantastic. Luka Modric scored a stunning goal and looked genuinely happy. Martin Skrtel was absolutely screwed trying to defend Gareth Bale. Charlie Adam got what he deserved. Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe were brilliant. Ledley King didn't look off the pace at all. I'm thrilled about Tottenham Hotspur and our prospects for getting back into the Champions League, and I couldn't be happier to be a fan today.
Having said that, do you guys remember the Young Boys match in Bern, before Bassong scored? The FA Cup loss to Fulham? How much did those absolute gut-punches suck? Well, that's what Liverpool fans suffered through yesterday. Their team absolutely folded like a deck chair. It was a nightmarish performance.
I wouldn't wish my feeling during the Fulham match on an Arsenal fan. Okay...so maybe I know a couple incredible douchebag Arsenal fans that I would point and laugh at, but I wouldn't wish it on 90 percent of Arsenal fans. And those are the folks who troll and won't shut up about how crap we are.
I've never met a Liverpool fan who gave me crap for supporting Spurs. I've never met a Liverpool fan who went on and on about how crap we are. So, find a Liverpool fan and go give them a hug today. They're probably still depressed about yesterday.
