Happy Wednesday Spursland! So how about that Roman Pavelchenko, eh? When is he just going to punt on his soccer career, jump to the NFL and become the greatest kicker of all time? Think about it, that 63 yard field goal record would be out the window in about 3 seconds. Do you think the Patriots would be willing to go 8 figures on transfer fee?

And now the "news"

Spurs To Fund Portions Of Local Facilities Under NDP-Sky Sports

This news broke yesterday, but being a Yank and not having a clue what a section 106 is, I had to wait until this came out to understand what any of this, apparently big deal, meant. Basically Spurs have agreed to contribute funds for the revamping of public facilities around the site of the NDP, presumably a tube station and perhaps some of those handy children at play signs.

Steve Perryman To Be Inducted Into Tottenham Hall Of Fame-Tottenhamhotspur.com

Long overdue if you ask me. For those that don't know, Perryman is Spurs all time record holder for number of appearances, having played for the club for 17 years. Think about that, very few players operate professionally for 10 years let alone all for one team. He will be inducted October 3rd.

The Most Rubish Transfer Rumor Since I Stopped Acknowledging The Daily Mail-Clean Sheets All Around

If you have been missing all those rubish transfer rumors since summer ended then you are going to love this laughably bad article. According to this, AC Milan are preparing to sign Rafa in January. It cites TALKSport as the source wich is the equivalent of citing your last bowel movment as a source in a scholarly essay. It goes on to say that Harry left VDV out of the Liverpool match is a sign that he unhappy with the Dutchman. But as we all know Rafa was left out because his fragile body had not yet healed from his latest injury.

Lokomotiv Moscow Keen On Pav-Inside Futbol

They are rumored to be ready to offer 13 million for the field goal artist, suckers.

Things to take away from this, Steve Nash is way, way cooler than Hope Solo, not nearly as attractive.

Are Valencia The Real Deal?-Barca Blaugranes

I hope to god they are. It would be great for Spanish Football as a whole is somebody that isn't Barca or Madrid won La Liga for the first time since 2004.
