Spurs Earn Late Minute Win in NextGen at PSV Eindhoven

The NextGen series continues to impress as a tournament to develop young talent. Tottenham snatched a 2-1 win on the road in Eindhoven. Souleymane Coulibaly had the opener while Jack Munns had the late equalizer.

The Tottenham side was made up of some players that have received first team minutes this season, as Massimo Luongo, John Bostock, and Jake Nicholson all featured for the U-19 side. 

Coach Tim Sherwood said on the game: "Massimo Luongo was our top man in midfield, we were very good across the back four, Jonathan [Miles] made his saves and overall, we deserved to win."

The win takes Tottenham to the top of the table in the NextGen Group 4 with seven points through three games. The next fixture is a follow-up PSV tie at home on October 19. A road match at Inter Milan and FC Basel at home to follow.
