I Hope You Weren't Anticipating A Tottenham Hotspur-Shamrock Rovers Preview

So, Tottenham Hotspur plays a game today! We're hosting Shamrock Rovers, a team from Ireland, at White Hart Lane. I know literally nothing about this team. Apparently, Bryan Ashlock knows five things about this team. For one week and one week only, it does not bother me that I know nothing about our opponent. This is not meant to demean Shamrock Rovers. They could sneak out a win over our second team or we could beat them 5-0 with our second team. Either way, I would not be surprised, and I hope we treat their traveling fans with nothing but class.

But, I only care about this game to see our youngsters get another run-out. I will be writing about this game after it happens to give everyone my take on (and a place to discuss) the performances of our second team players. This is very important to me, to the club, and probably to most of you. But, this doesn't require an extensive preview. Sorry, Europa League!

The North London Derby is this weekend and we're starting to get guys back from injury. We're going to start a complete B team and give some of the guys coming back from injury some some minutes off the bench. This is all invaluable stuff, and I'm thrilled to watch the game.

I'm looking ahead to the derby, though. I'm not going to lie. I've been thinking much more about what I'll be putting out on this site over the next three days regarding the NLD, and I promise you, it'll be awesome.

Spurs vs. Shamrock Rovers is one of the late games, kicking off at 3:00 pm ET, 8:00 pm BST. We'll have the game thread up for you around 2ish. Until then, discuss away right here, and COYS!
