Happy Spursday, Spursland! There seem to be lots of things happening today. Transfers are close to going down or are being rejected. Also, there is some football to be played. Tottenham Hotspur welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to White Hart Lane as Harry Redknapp's men attempt to put even more pressure on the Manchester Clubs at the top of the table.
Harry Redknapp is taking this match very seriously and has made only one change, bringing back Scott Parker, who missed the Everton fixture through injury. Wolves seem to have named a fairly defensive lineup, going 4-4-1-1 with Steven Fletcher playing alone up top and David Edwards in the hole behind him. Use your Mick McCarthy GIF's accordingly.
Tottenham Hotspur XI (4-4-1-1): Friedel; Walker, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor
Subs: Cudicini, Bassong, Rose, Kranjcar, Livermore, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko.
Wolverhampton Wanderers XI (4-4-1-1): Hennessey, Foley, Berra, Johnson, Ward, Kightly, Henry, Frimpong, Jarvis, Edwards, Fletcher.
No word on the Wolves bench yet. I'll post it in the comments once I have it. This game is not on tv in the USA or Canada. It is, however, available on Foxsoccer.tv. As a result, I'm ok with you all discussing alternative means of viewing in the comments unless the big boss man feels differently.
