After reporting all day that Tottenham Hotspur are after Juventus winger Milos Krasic, we now have a report that Spurs have made a formal bid for Milos Krasic. Krasic, 27, moved to Juventus in 2010 from CSKA Moscow for a reported €15 million. The Serbian international starred in his initial season, but has become second choice behind Simone Pepe at Juventus.
A corresponding report from Sky has linked Steven Pienaar to Krasic, saying that Tottenham's willingness to sell Pienaar will come only if the team completes a buy for Krasic. With Aaron Lennon struggling with injury, the acquisition would do much to reenforce and strengthen the Tottenham right wing position.
The advantage of acquiring Krasic would come in his lack of being cup-tied as Spurs continue their FA Cup run, as well as giving Spurs the depth to unload the unhappy and unproductive Pienaar.
